Case study
We didn't read about WhatsApp automation. We bet our own business on it.
Vertex runs a cloud hosting business. Thousands of customers, servers that renew every month, and one support number. Almost all of it happens on WhatsApp.
Selling. When a customer asks about hosting in chat, the bot quotes the right plan, answers the usual questions, and sends a pay button. Tapping it opens a page that shows the exact price, tax included, before any money moves. The moment payment lands, the server builds itself. Nobody on our side touches anything.
Getting paid on time. Renewal reminders go out on WhatsApp, and not at a random hour: each customer gets theirs near the time of day they usually pay, because that's when they answer. Customers can set up autopay from the same chat, so the next renewal doesn't need a conversation at all.
Support that knows who's asking. When a person does take over, they see the whole picture next to the chat: which servers the customer runs, whether anything is suspended, what they've bought before. The inbox is synced with our billing system in seconds, both ways. No "can you tell me your registered email" dance.
The boring parts, done right. It all runs on the official WhatsApp Business API side by side with our systems: message templates, delivery tracking, opt-outs, the lot. The same pipeline that sends a payment reminder knows not to interrupt a live support conversation.
We built this for ourselves first, which means we've already hit the sharp edges. Template approvals. Rate tiers. What happens when a message silently fails, and how you even find out. When we build your agent, that's the experience you're buying.
